As someone who masterworked all 168 of my Exotic Class Items, thanks in part to conversions at Rahool, it isn't ideal. The Rahool tariffs has that man set for life. 😂

Legend/Master Lost Sectors are still a thing, though.

It's Master difficulty from 300-400, so it's on par for rewards pre-Edge of Fate where Ascendant Shards would start to drop from Master Nightfalls, for example.
Only now, that difficulty and rewards can be applied to Solo Ops and other Portal activities.

One Pro of Power in this iteration is 300-400 Power for Solo players

I had 0 Ascendant Shards and Enhancement Prisms before then

Solo players being able to obtain these materials passively is a rare occurrence. 200-300 feels awful, though. #Destiny2

EoF has the bones for a great future, still a top expansion for me, but there's certainly some big head-scratchers.

Alongside Power, I've never been so adamantly against something as I am with Guardian Rank affecting:
- Quality of Loot
- Max Potential Tier of Loot
- Built-in Gameplay Loops (Ada Decryption)

Guardian Rank does not, and should not, represent player skill + should have no role in gameplay elements.

While true, that's a moot point in 2025 for something that is completely unrelated and spelled different.
Maybe if the drone one of Runner's has as an Ability is made by Traxus, but that's still...just odd.

Typically, Damage is the least of the worries for these top teams. To go from the most mechanically-heavy raid to making every shot of ammo count for damage in a boss gauntlet.🍻 #Destiny2

Something is wrong with Armor 3.0 stats. What we have in Edge of Fate does not match what was in previews or described in articles or even what is in the patch notes. I hope Bungie can address this shortly.

I haven't dove into anything but Legendary Campaigns on 3 Classes but, truly, well done. This has been much more than I expected. Very much enjoying EoF and I have yet to dive into my favorite part - The Sandbox. 🤘

Non-Linear Story
- Ultimately we do end up doing the same missions, doesn't feel like a choice but is. I'd like to see this concept expanded. Maybe I'm more keen to see what's going on in the (Ikora) thread 1st, then do (Drifter's). Adding Characters to these threads would incentivize that "choice".

Any criticisms there may be, I hope it doesn't deter from trying these new things. I wish for a Final Stand that isn't another Damage Dump, rather a bullet hell environment (think Returnal). I feel like that's a possibility now with this direction

Mission Variety
- How you go about encounters was refreshing. I appreciate the effort in giving a diverse experience. Some things might have overstayed their appeal, like Matterspark, but these new tools open up doors to new possibilities that I look forward to seeing

I was missing 12/15 Trials Sets, got them all now.

Also, for me, not having to grind Engrams for old obsolete gear JUST for Mag Size and Subsistence variants is 🙏.
3-5 Engrams per Focus was not it.

I have some backups, including Withering Gaze, if the Base kit doesn't Weaken enough
- Grenade
- Snare
- On The Prowl Cloud
- Khepri's Cloud
- Stylish Executioner Invis Melee (I don't think I've seen anyone actually utilize this 😂, fully loop-able, pairs nicely with Trench Barrel/Choir of One)

Depends on how much Melee energy it returns, assuming On The Prowl fully synergies with it; I would rather take the Melee Regen, insta-Snare on Melee hit with Grapple in this new sandbox if it turns out to be bad or is actually a nerf

If you mean if our current Artifice Armor will still have it's Artifice Slot, or will there be *new* Armor with an Artifice Mod slot?

- First is, yes, current Artifice unchanged
- Later is, Tier 5 Armor with the new Tuning Mod Slot is effectively the new Artifice

#Destiny2 Edge of Fate would have been the best opportunity ever to have a fresh start for everyone, and market it as such:
- New Saga
- New Gear Tiers
- Armor 3.0
- Collective Sandbox changes, how we approach encounters

It is set up to be in a better position than Beyond Light sunsetting ever was.
