If Tylenol is causing autism, not genetics, then why is leucovorin able to relieve symptoms? And why are they pushing leucovorin (folinic acid) over methylfolate? I have so much more I can ask and so much more to say, but I will explode if I do, so I'm just gonna pop some methylfolate and chill out.

Methylfolate supplements have been prescribed to relieve symptoms for some time. Leucovorin (folinic acid), which will be converted to methylfolate, is now being pushed by HHS. These supplements supposedly work for people with the gene mutation because they bypass the conversion process. So...

I'm no TV doctor or ex-heroin addict, so please excuse my ignorance. The MTHFR gene mutation reduces the body's ability to convert folate into its active form, methylfolate. Many with this gene mutation have a diagnosis of autism, anxiety, and/or ADHD.
