We have an interrail trip already booked along French and Italian riviera then back to Turin and onto Lyon that needs this route so gambled on that (would have had to bus it to Lyon otherwise as we are training it back from Lyon to Newcastle) as you said… great news!

Climb up Skiddaw in amazing wintery conditions. Amazing views abounded. Couldn’t get up Gale Road due to ice, so longer walk than planned but well worth the effort 9.2m 2792ft ascent

Itinerary sorted and accommodation booked for Japan visit in May. We fly in/out of Osaka, so no Tokyo visit this time. From landing we’ll go straight up to Kyoto, then onto Kanazawa, then down to Nara, across to Hiroshima be returning to see Osaka before flying home #JapanTravel

Wild camp in this special place and trying out new NatureHike Star River UL, really impressed, acres of space inside and huge vestibules in either side, all in a sub 2kg pack 👍
