You better show up!!!" Underneath, there are comments from three different accounts saying "Darn, just missed it." Two comments were posted three days ago, one comment was posted one day ago.

I'm so happy Mitja liked my idea, and was kind enough to implement it into CarveToy. Such a cool person.

I did a test a few days ago, and I think i had the feed set up somewhat better than the current version.
But the feed preview seemed to be a bit behind, so i could only really test it with debug posts.
And then i accidentally reloaded the page and lost that test๐ซ
But what leaves me conflicted about it
are the posts by users who might not be thinking about feeds/discoverability, with posts like 'first time trying blender [image of suzanne with a wireframe modifier on it]'
It's when those show up, and you get to see someones early journey into blender.
Yeah, I've been considering either requiring 'blender' to be a hashtag, or for it to be paired with other terminology like you said.
If I do make that change, it'll be when I migrate it over to @graze.social
Yeaaaaaaah. The unfortunate side is that now matter how those posts get filtered out, there's always some that are like "um... a blender?!" and then a screenshot of a headline, without any alt text to work with.
28.01.2025 23:00 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yeah!
When I made mine, I think 'Blender Art' was the only other feed. I noticed it hadn't been updated in a while, and that it was capturing a lot of unrelated posts.
I haven't checked if its changed since then, but I can't blame the owner if they don't feel like adding in more and more regex.
Fixed that just now... mostly. It's real hard to catch eeeeverything.
That is, if it's this feed that you're talking about:
bsky.app/profile/roug...
if you multiply the amplitudes of a saw and square wave's harmonics/partials, you'll get a triangle wave... i think that's kinda messed up and freaky imo... should be illegal tbh...

Which is critical for anyone just starting their journey, as they wouldn't know what little detail might be incorrect within the tutorials they are watching.
SO, the onus is on the educators to fully comprehend that information, through and through, before they try to teach it to others.
Yeah, I agree.
Although I think there can be good reasons to investigate learning material which may not align with your artistic goals immediately, but that's besides the point.
My main point was about how due diligence is sometimes absent in the presentation of that learning material.
I understand this is can be seen as a side effect of education being shared over the platforms which prioritize offering a constant stream of more and more entertainment.
But I also wanna believe that if those content creators had considered this, at least some would try to be a little more careful.
