“Oh oh! Can you turn into a planet too?!” She asks, eyes sparkling with hope.

“I thought that too, upon our first meeting. Another friend of mine by the name of Peach tried to warn me, but I didn’t listen.”

She has a knowing smile on her face, but she lets it go for now. “But I suppose you seem fine enough.”

“AHHHHH!!!” She immediately lets out a loud cry of surprise, toppling backwards, over the teacup, off of his desk, and onto the floor.

There’s an almost pitiful ‘bonk’ sound as she lands, mumbling curses underneath her breath.

When he does, she squishes almost like a marshmallow or a square of jell-o. She lets out an annoyed huff when it’s done too many times, though, grumbling before slowly righting herself up in the tea cup.

“Jeez, can’t a luma get any—?!”

Taking the waffle from him, she hums for a moment before handing him a handful of star bits to try in exchange.

“Happy Holidays!”

Looking back at Levi (who is currently trying to balance on a wavy Jenga tower made out of books) Rosalina cracks another smile.

“It would seem so. Does your companion also have a knack for getting themselves into trouble?”

She seems rather excited about it, too.

“So what do you do, Mr. Green Guy Number 3? Are you a forest man, too?”

“Then I will hold you to that.”

And though it might be a little surprising, she actually gains a rather mischievous smile on her face.

“Do not be afraid to drag her by the collar if you have to, though. I’m sure it will be necessary on some occasions.”

✨: And snoring almost silently on his desk, laying in one of his unused tea cups, is this little mongrel.

Or little star, perhaps.

Levi lies face first in the teacup with one of her little nubby arms lying out of the side. She mumbles in her sleep, muffled by the cup.

Now how did she get there…?

“You’re very welcome. I am always glad to be of help. Any time, any place.”

Her heart warms a bit at that.

“I appreciate that a lot, and I’m sure she does, too. We princesses tend to have a lot on our shoulders. That doesn’t even include the invasions we face….

But still, knowing that she has a friend like you brings me great comfort.”

Levi’s sparkles seem to shine brighter, a low, almost purring sound leaving her somehow. She doesn’t even seem like she notices what’s happening.

“A super cool guy with these fox ears and fluffy tail! His name’s Tighnari and he does all kinds of amazing forest explorations! Coolest guy ever!”

“Paimon?” She asks. “Is she a companion of yours?”

When she mentions sounding old, Rosalina can’t help but laugh. “I definitely know the feeling! It’s like you blink and a hundred years have gone by….”

“Well it is wonderful to meet you, Cliffy. I am Princess Rosalina, watcher of the cosmos and guardian of the lumas,” she greets, doing a little bow.

“Perhaps I’ll make you a drawing in return some day. It has been a while since I’ve made a new storybook.”

She returns the smile, more than happy to provide comfort.

“Is your mind more at ease? I would hope that some relaxation time would calm it down.”

“Oh, thank goodness….” she replies, a hand resting on her heart. “I love Daisy very much, but she can be a little… brash sometimes, especially when she gets upset.

I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve had to drag her by the collar….”

✨: “Well I guess I AM pretty adorable… so I’ll forgive the baby comment this time!”

Floating out of her mother’s hands, she spins around him curiously. “You might be the second green guy I’ve met so far! The third of you count the Luigi guy mama talks about.”

She makes a slight ‘oop!’ sound when he does, but very quickly rests her hand on his head and starts running her fingers through his hair.

Whether she knows she’s doing it or not, it’s become a natural reaction at this point. Being a mother will do that to you.

She lets out a sigh, sounding both exasperated and fond at the same time.

“Well, /that’s/ quite the coincidence. Daisy is actually an incredibly close friend of mine.

Um… tell me though: she didn’t try to fight anyone while you two were out, did she?”
