One of eight most parsimonious trees inferred with COI data and a branch-and-bound search depicting the reciprocal monophyly of Xyleborus pubescens and X. intrusus. Most of the intraspecific relationships were unresolved in the strict consensus of these trees. Numbers at nodes = bootstrap values (500 pseudoreplicates). Numbers between arrows are COI nucleotide interspecific “p” distance and numbers near dashed lines are COI nucleotide intraspecific “p” distances. Outgroup is X. ferrugineus (Xylfer_352, Cognato et al. 2011).
