what on earth does this have to do with israel. come on now
hey gianmarco, fan of your work, what the fuck does any of this have to do with Israel
yes the pentagon and Israel are behind this (terrible) initiative from Tinder, keep ranting about the (((AI industry))), it makes you sound very sane and not racist
I don’t know the context to this but, please go back to paddle boarding & bungee jumping over this 😅
I’m really concerned for the people who answered “don’t know” to that
One unexpected benefit of a long distance relationship: it’s not a scheduling nightmare when your anniversary coincides with Mothers’ Day 😂
The uncensored world history book was one of the coolest early-game moments for me…especially once I compared it to my screenshots of the original and saw how inventive the censoring was!
I just think maybe this game wasn’t for you lol (and that’s okay, plenty of games aren’t for me)
You thought it was AI? I got a clear impression that every single bit of text in the game was very carefully crafted to hide clues in a way that wasn’t obvious until you knew what to look for. I’ve no idea how you got that impression!
(I assume we’re talking about Blue Prince?)
I have a phonetic but “foreign” surname too and it’s remarkable how much it trips people up. I’ve had people swap the consonants around or even fully just start stuttering and then declare they won’t even bother trying. Very much empathise with Kat here!!
He’s literally just Jewish, that’s it.
Pretty sure he’s apologised for it actually
And he signed this letter on October 23rd, 2023…i.e. less than two weeks after the war started. Apparently that makes him directly responsible for the genocide?
The sheer irony and hypocrisy exuding from this guy is incredible
“They put my name, my age, my job up on the daily mail, I was worried I’d get doorstepped”
Oh no, imagine being afraid that people might confront you in person for something you *actually did*!
Oh I forgot to mention he also drove us home, because he insisted he couldn’t let us walk back in that weather 😂 (we were a little tipsy, to be fair)
Isn’t this guy 29? That’s not “youth” by any stretch, he’s fully an adult and more than old enough to know better. Particularly as cuts due to DOGE have literally killed hundreds of thousands of people.
Best meal I ever had was in Kutaisi, Georgia. We visited in February, it was snowing, and we walked 30 minutes to this tiny basement restaurant. We were the only customers, the owner showed us his wine-making equipment and gave us loads of free wine and chacha shots. Incredible night 😄
Lots of photos of Zack Polanski speaking at Transmission, and full credit to him, but here's @eddavey.libdems.org.uk and I chatting on the stage at Wembley, before the concert began.
Humanity already got there with the invention of fire, seeing as it releases CO2. It just took a few tens of thousands of years to scale up.
Yeah when people learn that, here in the UK, the majority of the recipients of Universal Credit are actually employed (just on poverty wages) it can be quite surprising.
Well, I have 0% of my wealth in my home value, which is why my assets are mostly in the stock market instead while I save up for one. If the stock market does really well, maybe that'll change!
Which is the most likely option tbh, I think most people really struggle with the idea of medians, averages, and other summary statistics. Unemployment is 4.4% right now, so the majority are in work but that still means one in ~23 people are unemployed!
I couldn't fit this into 300 characters, but obviously I respect the poorest will not have savings, or maybe not consistent enough savings to invest it. But it's misleading to present it as only something the top 10% care about. The median American has $8k in savings! Lots will be in "stocks"!
Ok, but that's just reflecting the distribution of wealth. If you looked at the proportion of people's wealth that they had in stocks - directly or indirectly, e.g. via pensions - it would probably be quite similar.
Like about 80% of my own savings are in "stocks" and I'm definitely not top 10% lol
And get off X, it’s pickling your brains (as Ed Davey’s mad post yesterday proves)
Yes, this is who Labour have always been.
They get: 160 dead schoolgirls, instability, chaos, and air and water irreversibly contaminated with oil
We get: a financial crisis and soaring bills
Truly the greatest trade deal in the history of trade deals, maybe ever
The one about something that happened well over a decade ago (like, my point being it's a very different party now), by a junior staffer about completely different leadership, isolated from the context that they knew what they were trading it for would never be implemented?
We're a member-led party and conference is literally tomorrow. And I trust our liberal-minded members to steer the party and to tell Ed Davey to knock it off. So we'll see what comes out of that.
I see you're a Scottish Green. Weren't you allied with the SNP just two years ago despite them being populist reactionaries who wanted to copy Brexit for Scotland? How did those sips of power work out for marginalised people?
