The fact that the BBC has made serious culpable errors does not negate the point that there is a real and concerted right-wing media campaign to destroy it. Both points can be true at the same time and the campaign would not end even if the errors did.

Anyone else finding that Bluesky on iOS gets “stuck” on videos? Like you can’t hit any controls or close the video (but it keeps playing), only solution is to force quit the app. I swear it’s happening on most of them now, it’s made video unusable.

I honestly think you are not being the slightest bit realistic about what the US is like outside of NYC. I was in NJ last week, my partner is from there, there were MAGA signs everywhere. And that’s not to mention that the relatively centrist candidate who won there *won an open primary*!
