The more I think about it, the "Trump is a communist" rhetoric feels like a direct result of the red-scare propaganda that is so deeply engrained in our media and public education.

Liberals and Conservatives alike are more scared of Communism than they are of Fascism by design.

All the comparisons of Trump to a communist "dictator" and MAGA to communism feels like fed astroturfing.

That being said I also wouldn't put it past red scare brainwashed Americans to naturally make these incredibly wrong assertions due to their severe lack of political education.

Fascism is rising in the US enabled by both parties. Climate change is surpassing predictions while Republicans deny it's existence & Democrats pay lip service while dragging their feet on meaningful action.

And we're all just expected to continue going to work everyday as if everything is normal.
