Buckhurst Hill (1)2 Basildon United 0, att 116 at Redbridge FC. Two headed goals gave BH an expected and deserved win but BU made more of a game of it than recent form suggested particularly 1st half

LUL D2. British Transport Police (0)1 Docklands Light Railway (4)7, att 4. Third meeting this year. One win for each before today so close game expected but while B had good share of the play, D looked far more dangerous and won comfortably

English Fire Brigade Cup. London FB (6)9 Essex County FRS 0, att 15 at Fisher FC. As score suggests this was very comfortable for L. EC keeper kept it in single figures

Academy double. NLYA: Chatham Tn (0)1 Carshalton Ath 0, att 20. 1st v 2nd. Bad tempered 1st half, both down to 10. CA most of play in better 2nd, couldn't score (missed pen) paid for it when CT won it late. Tactic Lg. Chatham Tn 0 Charlton Ath (3)7, att 20. As score suggests CA far too good for CT

West Ham United (0)1 Manchester United (0)1, att c56,000? MU equalised 88m, bitter blow for WH tho probably deserved. But WH looked much improved from last twice I saw them

LUL D1. Victoria (2)2 Hammersmith and Circle (0)1, att 10. Surprise rearranged league game took place of scheduled cup tie. V deserved win to maintain title challenge but had to work for it particularly after late H pen for 2 1

NL u19 Youth Alliance South. Dorking Wanderers (1)2 Oxford City (1)1, att 70. Enjoyable open game. OC scored first, pressed late but DW worth win overall. My first game seen here since 1983.

Kent Junior Cup C QF. Sandwich Town 0 Barming (3)5, att 18. ST worked hard, kept going for 90m but were second best to a fine performance by B who could've had more. Highlight was an excellent hat trick by B number 8

PL2 u21. Fulham (2)5 West Ham United 0, att c150? WH had far more of play 1st half but created little and 2 in last 10m gave F flattering HT lead. F much improved 2nd half, fine early goal 3 0 and result not in doubt from then, another fine goal and a scrappy OG rounded it off

Tactic Lg F1. Chatham Town (0)1 West Herts College (2)3, att 8. WH good 1st half, 2 good goals, could've had more. CT made more of a game of it in closer 2nd half. Another good goal 0 3 before CT gifted a late - but deserved - "consolation"

LUL D1. Northern (2)8 Elizabeth (0)1, att 10. E battled well for nearly an hour, scored for 2 1 but conceded again almost immediately and N took it from there

Enjoyable BUCS double. Women's SE Tier 1. UCFB (1)2 Portsmouth (0)4, att 25. UC better for 70m, comfortable at 2 0. Then P scored and game completely changed. Men's SE 2B: UCFB 2nds (0)5 UCL 0, att 25. 1st v 2nd. UC edged 1st half. Ahead early 2nd, got more and more on top and added 4 in last 15m

Middlesex Senior Cup SF. Broadfields United (2)2 Hanwell Town 0, att 122. Decent game. HT had most of the play particularly 2nd half but couldn't find a finish and B's two first half goals - the first was very good - were enough to take them into the final

LUL D2. Docklands Light Railway (2)3 British Transport Police (0)1, att 8. Decent game between two contenders for 2nd place and promotion. BTP won last month's cup tie 5 2 but DLR were much improved tonight and deserved the win

NFYL u23 South. Chatham Town (2)5 Wealdstone (1)2, att c20. Enjoyable game. CT ahead after about a minute and stayed there. W got to 2 1 and 3 2 but it is as 4 2 quickly after and CT well worth the win

LUL D1. Jubilee (0)1 Hammersmith and Circle 0, att 12. Seen worse. J had most of the play and a range of decent chances, hit the woodwork 2 or 3 times before a good finish 75m deservedly won it

Women's World Club Championship SFs. 1: Gotham 0 Corinthians (0)1, att c4,000? G had most of the play, couldn't find a finish and C goal c80m won it. 2: Arsenal (4)6 FAR Rabat 0, att 8,066. A far too strong for African champs and must be strong favourites for Sunday's final

London Senior Cup. Fisher (2)3 Wingate & Finchley (0)1, att 201. Enjoyable game. Excellent goal 1 0, 2 0 after 30m. WF had chances, got one back midway 2nd, pressed but F wrapped it up with last minute 3rd on break

LUL D2. Waterloo & City (0)1 Piccadilly (4)12, att 7. Runaway leaders P far too strong for W&C

Hants Prem Div 1. Headley United (2)6 Paulsgrove 0, att 25. Bottom 2 at ko but games in hand suggested H might be in false position and it looked like it. They were on top from start to finish and would've had more but for several good saves by P keeper

Lymore Gardens (0)2 Newbury Forest (0)2, att c110 (official 88). LG missed pen near end of an ok 1st half that didn't quite take off. Early NF goal set up much better 2nd. LG scored two fine for lead but N came back to equalise. LG hit post in closing seconds but draw probably right result

Rangers (1)1 Ludogorets 0, att 37,105. All a bit low key compared to many Ibrox European nights in the last few years but seen worse. R had more chances and deserved win tho they can't go further while L go into last game still with a chance to progress

BUCS double. Women's SE 5B. UCFB (8)18 Kings College 0, att 8. If anything even more one sided than it looks. Remarkably K have a league win this season. Men's SE 4C. UCFB (1)3 Royal Holloway (1)3, att 25. Enjoyable even game. Deserved late equaliser for RH after they had led twice

Spurs (2)2 Borussia Dortmund 0, att 52,713. S much better 1st half (tho couple of nervy moments at the back) particularly after B down to 10. Didn't sustain it 2nd. B had more of the play but didn't really look like saving it. Right result
