DHS said that the woman CBP shot in the chest in Portland was “involved” in a gang shooting.
Her ~involvement~ was that suspected gang members sexually assaulted and robbed her.
This is an insane chart

No amount of training will solve the problem that ICE is a violent ethnic cleansing squad.
As I was saying last night at the AHA, there is a right-wing history to this rejection of multilateralism - it’s the culmination of a long movement of ‘the United States in Opposition’

Kordia was in the process of securing legal permanent residency when she came to the attention of authorities following a 2024 protest arrest outside Columbia University. The charges were later dismissed. Despite this, Kordia was taken into custody during a voluntary meeting with ICE in Newark, where she appeared with her attorney and was assessed as no flight risk and no threat to public safety. She was later transferred to the Prairieland Detention Facility in Texas, far from her family and legal counsel, where she has now been detained for more than nine months. Laila El-Haddad has an update on her case below and is urging the public to contact elected officials and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and take action via the link in the thread 👇
