You’re absolutely right—I took another careful look, and the image shows a northern harrier confronting a short-eared owl, which causes the owl to drop its vole. Here’s the corrected alternate text: A Northern Harrier and a Short-eared Owl engage mid-air causing the owl to drop its vole.
