Best movies of the year that I've seen. It's a toss-up between Nuremberg and One Battle after Another. Frankenstein was also terrific.
I look forward to Avatar, too. And the Kate Hudson movie about a Neil Diamond impersonator band.

Will be out next month.
05.12.2025 19:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There's always been a tendency to purify parties or exclude people who don't fit radical molds. In the 1980s, it was the Christian Right with Jerry Falwell and others who expelled all moderate Republicans. We've seen that tendency in recent years in both the Democratic and Republican parties.
02.12.2025 17:26 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Many of you may not know that much of the PPFA comparisons to Nazis or abortion to the Holocaust have deep roots in the anti-abortion movement. Ronald Reagan wrote in a book that abortion was a slippery slope to Auschwitz. So you're falling into their trap without knowing it.
02.12.2025 17:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0For instance, if you plan on making some consequential argument to disavow Sanger, then I expect you to have read the entirety of The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich and to have consulted and compared the Nazi approach to eugenics to American theorists like Charles Davenport.
02.12.2025 14:57 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's not always our job to persuade you to understand and appreciate Margaret Sanger's legacy. If you're saying we should condemn her, then you have to provide evidence and convince us to think differently. I haven't been impressed by the arguments or the depth of the research.
02.12.2025 14:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It's reasonable to ask any man to know the eugenics movement's history and that of Nazi Germany if he's going to recontextualize Planned Parenthood's legacy by making some weak connection between the two. It's not a sufficient argument to simply say they believed in eugenics, and so did they.
02.12.2025 14:44 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Iβve read extensively on both nazi germany and the reproductive rights movement. I donβt see any parallels at all, and I think itβs appalling to say Margaret Sanger is in the same breath as Adolf Eichmann. Have you even read Shirerβs book?
02.12.2025 02:56 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I donβt really care if Iβm persona non grata among certain quarters. To be honest with you, Iβm too busy driving Uber and working on things to even be cognizant that I am. My life wouldnβt be any less adventurous if I didnβt end up at swank parties and on red carpets.
02.12.2025 02:25 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Listen, Iβm not turning my back on young conservative men who come to me for leadership and mentorship anymore than I would liberal ones. Iβm donβt care at all if someone thinks thatβs bad for my βimage.β
02.12.2025 01:20 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Having those films and actors associated with them will help provide strong cinematic role models for the rest of American men to follow. Culture can drive change and develop healthier forms of masculinity. So let's help them have famous pop culture figures that set the tone.
01.12.2025 23:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0For instance, the former leader would say someone has to pay their dues, consistently delay their opportunities, and then tantalize them to keep them under control.
What I have done instead is begin developing WWII screenplays that will help young men become stars and turn Hollywood around.
A poor leader will say, "How can we stop him so that I can control everything?"
A confident leader will say, "I'm his leader. What can I do to help him succeed so he can get closer to his goals?"
That's a fundamental philosophical difference and approach. We deserve the latter leader.
What would have been interesting was to show how social media drives people to psychosis by shortening the attention span people have and creating multiple personalities among users. Then someone else was too preoccupied with social media to notice their loverβs descent into madness.
01.12.2025 07:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Saw Jennifer Lawrenceβs new flick about a woman who slowly goes insane because she feels confined by an unhappy marriage and the demands of motherhood. I had a few thoughts, but the biggest thing is that psychosis usually comes more from being too plugged in instead of being removed from society.
01.12.2025 07:26 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I hadnβt really watched most of his movies since No Country for Old Men. It just seems like anyone with any influence doesnβt have a fire lit under their ass. Now is the time to rise as a leader, and I just donβt see it happening.
01.12.2025 02:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0βItβs not the end of the world if Trump violates the Constitution.β
Where is the sense of urgency among older men?
Iβve seen memes where people say that 25-35-year-olds greatest fear is that theyβre running out of time. Best thing I can say as a 41-year-old is that it depends on what you want to do. To be an A-list celebrity? Yes. Youβre running out of time. But why should that be your self-measure?
30.11.2025 21:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Saw this movie, which was about the prosecution of nazis for committing the Holocaust. One of the best films of the year.
29.11.2025 20:37 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I get a kick out of most of the people who knock LeBron James. Virtually all of them have never won anything significant in their lives, except the champions in that sport, who generally show respect and have fun with the GOAT talk. Still, it's more speculative and light-hearted when they do.
29.11.2025 15:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Watched this version of Frankenstein, which I liked. I like that it makes you question who the real villain is.
29.11.2025 15:28 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Parasocial relationships are generally not healthy, but it seems like all celebrity gossip and tabloids are built on cultivating them. Shouldn't the focus be on getting in the same room and meeting someone like them? Maybe it's because that obsessive person will count toward the box office.
27.11.2025 18:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yo VIP, hit me with those peanut blossoms.
26.11.2025 23:06 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Saw The Rock's new movie, which was a fantastic biopic about Mark Kerr. It's interesting. I just learned that mixed martial arts were one of the categories in the ancient Olympics. It was called pankration, a blend of boxing and wrestling, which were also sports in the competition.
26.11.2025 21:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I spoke with some people over Thanksgiving break, and none of us have any idea when movies are out in theaters, and by the time we hear about the buzz around one, it's already left. I just read about Nuremberg, and it's not showing anywhere, or with limited showtimes. No one heard of Sinners, etc.
26.11.2025 19:52 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0One of the most powerful stories I ever wrote was about Mauthausen, also the site of the trials of Nazis responsible for the Holocaust. If I remember correctly, they tried the enlisted Nazis there and the officers at Nuremberg. Anyway, want to see this.

So many quotes are falsely attributed to celebrities. The latest: a claim Robert Redford rejected, The Godfather, because he wasn't Italian for βauthenticity.β He never said that. Meanwhile, Pacino later played Latino roles. Celebrity media keeps inventing fake posts to prop up peopleβs arguments.
25.11.2025 22:50 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Saw Blue Moon, Linklaterβs film with Ethan Hawke as Lorenz Hartβan envious, alcoholic songwriter watching Rodgers drift toward Hammerstein. Its single setting feels stage-like, but fitting: for someone stuck in longing and regret, life becomes one bar, one bartender, and missed chances.
25.11.2025 22:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Another suggestion β and this is clichΓ© but true β is that you should treat talented people well because more of them will come along. If you ostracize or dismiss creative outside thinkers, they're just going to say fuck you and go work for someone else or in some other field. That hurts you.
25.11.2025 01:41 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I donβt think itβs so much that I was fucked over or out of things anymore. I think that leadership is so piss poorβas is evidenced by the current state of the countryβthat talented people losing out on earned opportunities is the accepted norm. And people arenβt upset because they expect it.
