Note how there was a *GROWING* sea ice trend 2019-2022 (COP25-27).

Arctic sea ice this week at 10.6 k km³. This week saw daily sea ice volume at 10.6, and its 9-year average was at 13.6. This was also an All-Time Low for the latter. The annual average just passed 13,000 km³.

Earth’s Polar Icecaps are now losing 2.8 Gt/d. That’s 2.8 km³ of ice every day annualised, or every day on average over the past year.

Antarctica now slated to lose *0 cm* thickness in 2025. Greenland is down to 5 cm.
As April & May data arrives from GRACE-FO via NASA, 2025 estimates for Antarctica and Greenland are down from 1 cm loss to 0, and 6 to 5 cm, respectively.

Blue Mushroom (𝘔𝘺𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘢 𝘴𝘶𝘣𝘤𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘢): Mycena is a large genus of small saprotrophic mushrooms that are rarely more than a few centimeters in width. This is a fascinating tiny fungi that has been discovered in the past couple of years by Eric Cho in Taoyuan, Taiwan.
