Okay new favorite thing for #boardgames is this app I found: BGG Catalog

It sorts all your owned, wishlisted, played/unplayed board games and lets you track their scores and stats

I’m so excited to start using it holy crap. And the collection of listed games on there is impressive!

Next one being played is command of nature! We are fans of slay the spire which is another game similar in play to this one. The character art is fantastic and really completes the play style.

These three have really well written rules and guides while also allowing you to find complex mechanics on your own. A great mid of strategy without holding your hand and showing you all of it at once.

If more games were written like these rules I’d be happy.

Saw this board game post and my first thought wasn’t jealousy for the awesome collection or the good pizza.

But for the quantity of shelf space for said games…. I need to organize better.

I love playing so many board games and experiencing which have the best rules. Not just objective mechanics but the way the rules are communicated to the player.

Sometimes the rules are written out so simply that even complicated setups are dumbed down and digestible.
