βBlind and partially sighted people have the legal right to receive their health and care information in formats like large print, email, audio and braille. Too often, these rights are still not being upheld. #MyInfoMyWayβ. Black on white graphic with pink hashtag.
NHS England has just published the updated Accessible Information Standard, which makes clear how NHS and social care services in England must provide information to blind and partially sighted people in a way they can read.
It's a step forward - here's what's improved:

Reacting to someone who is blind.
"Please treat us like you treat anyone else. We donβt want special treatment or to be spoken to like weβre children, please donβt touch us without asking, and remember that we still have the same thoughts, feelings, desires, likes and dislikes, as everyone else"

That is just wrong on every level. The person that asked should be sacked immediately

This diagram shows many problems that someone with SPD could experience.
The effect could be related to touch, taste, smell and heating.
Sensory processing disease
We hadn't had anyone contact us with these problems before.
As a result I've promised myself not to use moving GIFs any more.

Please be considerate.
Here we have pavement parking combined with refuse day.
Why should those using prams and those with mobility issues have to walk out into the traffic.
