Thank you UK Disability History and Heritage Hub for hosting us last night. It was great to share some of the stories behind disabled people’s campaigns for transport access. We’re really proud to be part of the community preserving and celebrating them.

I host this podcast ‘Talking Disability’ on behalf of The Classical Pod and the first episode has just dropped. We need to talk about disability and ableism much more so please go and listen to brilliant guests Alexandra Morris and Danny Pucknell do exactly that! 🏺

Excellent first week of my new exhibition. Had some great conversations with visitors.
Had a lengthy chat today about the layers and layers of accessibility we had to build in - including making our VR piece accessible to vision impaired users.
It's groundbreaking work that deserves attention.
Last week, I went to go visit @karlantmercer.bsky.social 's "At the End of History," at @dovermuseum.bsky.social and had a fantastic day out. The VR portion of the exhibit is like nothing I've ever experienced before. Highly urge everyone to see this exhibit before it closes. #DisHist

Thank you to everyone who's donated, shared, or otherwise supported us so far. We've now raised enough to send 2 speakers to ASTC. Please do keep sharing. Your support through donations or just spreading the word makes this possible. www.gofundme.com/f/fund-trave...

It has been a big month for CripAntiquity!
Early in the month, three of our board members hosted a panel at the CA conference (pictured below), and just this last weekend we had our first ever annual conference, which was a great success! (1/2)
I'm currently with Dr Wade Berger trying to get a group of disabled museum educators to the ASTC conference. Both of us are currently jobless due to higher education cuts, but feel it's important to keep advancing this research anyways. Thank you very much for any and all help! gofund.me/54f249fc
Excited to be presenting at the #CA2025 as part of CripAntiquity on Saturday morning. @cripantiquity.bsky.social
is also now on Bluesky! Give us a follow!
July is Disability Pride Month, and we are so proud of our members around the world! We are now one step closer to reaching our goal of providing grants/scholarships for our members for conferences and fieldwork: you can now donate to us! paypal.com/donate/?host...
