Voice acting will never be replaced by AI. AI could never have "made" a game like this or made these characters so charming and memorable.

I'm genuinely impressed by how good and diverse the voice acting talent in Date Everything is. There's a few big VA names in here as well.

Names that if you've watched an animated show or played a game in the past decade, you've probably heard their voice.

Have you noticed how all the big name conservatives and "tough guys" end up being the biggest cowards and manbabies? Like they always cry about how afraid they are of cities despite crime rates going down.

The slightest criticism and inconvenience turns them into toddlers.

Game consoles are the exception to the rule, of course. I'm always an early adopter on the ones I'm interested in.

I tend to hold on to my older tech for a long as possible before I'm forced to upgrade. Luckily, I replaced both my phone and PC right before all the tech companies started forcing all this AI shit into everything, so it pays to be a late adopter.

But never apologize for blocking people. It's still the best way to set boundaries, prevent harassment, and block content you don't want to see.

Look at how badly Target is doing after they bent the knee. Even American Eagle is seeing less traffic in their stores after that weird ad.

It'll be hard for them to earn back that trust.

A big mistake that Trump has made is that thinking his tiny pop vote win gave him a huge mandate to implement his unpopular policies and go full fascist with them.

Corporate America is making the same mistake. Appealing to MAGA won't work out the way they think it will.

There's too many people who think that activism means being constantly miserable and scolding others for not living and breathing American politics 24/7.

I know the world is shit, but what's the point of fighting fascism if you're going to be the same joyless husks that they are?

Moana is one of Disney's most streamed movies, and the sequel made over $1B last year. Did an AI make this slop that keeps popping up on my timeline? Because five seconds of research would prove it wrong.

All this is going to do is keep kids ignorant and harm the livelihoods of smaller and mid-size creators. Including indie animation.

Because I guarantee you YouTube won't touch the actually harmful manosphere grifters, chuds, incels, or conspiracy theory channels.

YouTube and other social media sites going all in with age verification BS that nobody wants was never about "protecting kids".

I think it's an excuse to censor content that they don't like, particularly LGBT+ and left-wing creators.

Amphibia is always a delight to watch.

King of the Hill. Currently watching it for the first time. I'm at season seven, so lots more to go before I get to the revival.

Resident Alien manages to be funny, charming, and has a very likable cast.

The Owl House. I usually rewatch it at least twice a year now.

Bob's Burgers. Always a fun rewatch.

Instead of hate watching, what's something that you're currently joy watching? Something that you enjoy watching that makes you happy. Doesn't matter if it's something you're watching for the first time or rewatching for the fifth time.

Why are YouTube drama channels are still a thing? Especially when, like scoopers, they often get things wrong. They're bottom feeders preying on people's misfortune.

I'm not interested in prying into entertainers' personal lives. As long as they're a good person, I'll still watch them.

Yup, but it seems that most of them seem to either completely miss the point of the original or are interested only in being a shot for shot remake instead of doing their own thing with it.

My hot take about live action remakes is that they're generally harmless, but I think people would hate them much less if they at least followed the spirit of the source material.

The live action One Piece does that quite well while Lilo & Stich did not.

One of my golden rules of the internet has always been "like and dislike whatever you want, but don't be a toxic or elitist asshole about it" and I think social media would be instantly less of a cesspool if people actually followed that.

The way the internet rewards negativity and hate will always be frustrating and toxic.

And this is by design because this is how the algorithms work. They promote the loudest, most negative, and most bad faith people over any of the good ones.

Same thing with them insisting that they're "pro-life" when they're actually anti-woman and pro-cruelty.

Or when the right insists that they want to "protect children" yet so many of them end up being the biggest creeps and perverts on the planet.

It's always projection.

Don't ever let conservatives tell you that they want "small government" or "support free speech", because they absolutely love when they're the big government that censors any speech that they don't happen to like and cracks down on people they hate.

This feels even more timely then when this episode first aired.

Ned Flanders is basically Collective Shout and a bunch of other prudes obsessively looking for anything on the internet to get offended by so they can pressure governments to censor art they don't like.

Date Everything. Really fun dating sim with great character art that's also very LGBT+ friendly. Great representation. AI could never replicate this.

Donkey Kong Bananza. A really charming and fun 3D platformer. I think I'm about 70% done the base game now?

Mario Kart World. I'm putting most of my time in DK Bananza, but I'm still enjoying online races.

Fantasy Life i The Girl Who Steals Time. Admittedly, I have played this one the least. Going to wait until I finish DK before I invest more time in it.

Reminder that it's okay to have fun and do what you need to do to take care of yourself and your mental health.

If someone tries to shame you for that, then it tells you that they care more about getting likes than about you.

These studios are sitting on billions of dollars. It surely can't cost too much to put something like Barbarian or Amphibia on DVD?
