Being the good guy or the safe guy is more than just not being a creep, not cheating, sending unsolicited pics and other embarrassing shit.

Its who you are as a person for people in public and private. Whether that’s friendly or intimate.

Doing the healing work and processing how to navigate the trauma I been through is the only real way to undo a lot of the social programming I been through as a boy/young man.

Constant learning and unlearning.

I remember as a kid wanting to be seen as the “good guy” till I realized there’s no need to label being a good person to women.

I just didn’t want to be seen how many see my peers; but under the surface a nigga was already socialized to operate JUST like them to a degree
