Thanks! I'll have a look at some older ones and see if testes trend more pink. If pinkish, you'd go obscura? They are pretty big flies if that helps at all (near hydei size).

👀 Enjoyed this perspective on the evolution of human commensalism! We need to quantify the degree to which species have evolved/adapted to anthropo environs and clearly define those environs. Plus I learned a neat new word: "synurbic". #drosophila would be great models for some of this!
