Special thanks to The Association of Zoos and Aquariums for funding the tower, along with Lake Michigan Bird Observatory, which assisted with the design and setup of the tower, and hosts the Motus Western Great Lakes Bird and Bat Observatory project.
🏗️ A new crane species visited our headquarters to help install a Motus Station! These tall antennas help researchers track and study banded birds, bats, and large insects. Our tower hasn't picked up any species yet, but we are excited to see the results of the coming year. 🌎 🪶 🧪

✨ There are six new #saruscranes in Vietnam! The seven-month-old cranes were hatched in Thailand and flown to the Saigon Zoo for quarantine last week. They will be released at the historic Tram Chim National Park to begin rebuilding the population of this threatened species in Vietnam. #goodnews 🌏 🪶
