New SAT inspired Australian study by Molly McCarthy and colleagues involving 3287 youth (10-16 years) who have had contact with the law. The study shows that exposure to criminogenic environments has the strongest impact on RE-OFFENDING.

Carruthers's just published book makes a good argument that philosophical treatments of action theory would benefit from taking better into account cognitive sciences, and, among other things, the role of habits.
