Conductor? Conductor!
I love rehearsals.
Both as instrumentalist or as conductor or as observer: rehearsals are melting pots of Art that as soon as it is created it disappears but remains in the soul of the people who experienced it. I am always amazed by participating at rehearsal, and grateful.

If we assume that a musician is someone that creates music, then a question arises if a conductor is a musician or not. Waving a baton does not generate any sound, and the question becomes if a conductor is someone that does "more" than "waving" or if this activity is more ..

In the recent years, public interest has been raised toward that curious activity of swinging hands in front of a variously sized ensemble of musicians and showing the back to an hopefully larger audience. Whilst lots have been written I'd like to share my experience.
