Happy #InternationalWomensDay

We continue to strive for a balanced industry, but I’m heartened to see so many young female conductors in our training programmes!

Here’s a picture from @officialuom.bsky.social visit to Chemnitz, where we had an all female team of student conductors! #IWD2026

PREVIEW: Peter and the Wolf @Warwick Arts Centre Peter and the Wolf is one of the most famous narrative music pieces for children and families, immersing them to the world of the orchestra and the stories that music can create. At once unnerving …

A preview for our Family Concert on Sunday at Warwick Arts Centre!

A busy week at @officialuom.bsky.social This morning I was back with my two conducting classes working on Appalachian Spring and a session on BBC Ten Pieces music. Then it was Chamber Orchestra who were rehearsing Brahms Schicksalslied and Fauré Cantique, followed by some Parry with Ad Solem!

Found a perfect spot for a bit of score study! Rach 3 🎹 coming up (amongst many things) right after the Christmas break!

I know I’m on holiday, but I really enjoy absorbing new learns when I don’t have the pressure of jumping straight into the rehearsal room
