Our data support an architecture of distributed, parallelized, and embodied control, reminiscent of โ€œsubsumption architecturesโ€ from autonomous robotics, where behavior-centric feedback loops are organized s that they can be combined or subsumed to generate complex or resolve competing behaviors.

* Long-range pathways are organized to permit coordination within and across modules to fine-tune, prioritize, resolve conflicts, and link related behaviors in sequences. This may offer structural substrates for behavioral compositionality.

* Local sensorimotor loops linking matched sensors and effectors are basic building blocks of behavioral control.

Moreover, Zaki Ajabi developed a computationally efficient method for quantifying the โ€œinfluenceโ€ any neuron has on any other neuron in the CNS. We applied this method to estimate the pairwise interactions between all cells in the CNS, amounting to more than 20 billion influence scores.

The dataset includes ~160,000 cells, segmented nuclei and mitochondria, synapses and neurotransmitter predictions, and annotations linking the CNS to peripheral sensory, motor, and visceral systems.

The BANC is the first connectome that explicitly links the brain to the nerve cord, & through it, to the body. It offers a new โ€œembodiedโ€ perspective for connectomes, one that changes how we think about neural networks for control, behavior, & even artificial intelligence.

"Some have asked if there will even be an NIH by [2029]. The commmittee's resounding message is yesโ€”Congress has your back", she says.

I NEED to tell you the story of Tae Heung โ€œWilliamโ€ Kim.

He's a graduate student at Texas A&M where he's working on a vaccine for Lyme disease.

He's a *legal permanent resident* of the United States.

And he's been in ICE detention for 12 days & counting, transferred Tuesday to South Texas.

That anybody would be treating a "deal" between private institutions and the Trump regime as a "win" shows you just how far down the path to authoritarianism we have already traveled.

The government is imposing ideology on you through extortion. It is not compatible with a free society.

My take would be that renewals were accelerating from Feb to May, but then settled into a lower, linear pace. Does that align to anything we know to be happening internally?

The important subtext of this is that they don't have enough manpower to carry out their fascist agenda.

If/when they hold recruitment events in your area, you should be prepared to show up and get loud.

Folks have already done this in California and elsewhere.
