Fandoms have this weird idea that they understand the characters and such better than the authors do. I think there’s occasions where you can argue the creator doesn’t really know how best to expand on their work sometimes (Lucas, MM3D, etc) but generally the creator likely knows more about

I have met so many wonderful fans in-person at conventions. All of this toxic discourse we see on the internet regarding fandom are only a small portion of the overall fanbase, most of whom have been lovely.

The blurb on the top right says: "Richietoons is a well known Instagram artist who draws lots of cartoon fanart, usually of crossovers and drawing characters in various styles. He has amassed around 86k followers, some of which who are animation industry veterans (do not harass anyone who follows him, most might not have known about him tracing). Unfortunately, RichieToons has a huge habit of tracing off artwork from various sources, including frames of the cartoons he is drawing from or even stolen fanart (without credit). This tracing is not even just the pose for some, some are just straight up stolen with only a few changes. There are countless examples of him tracing from other works, which will be showed here. Send this callout to many people and those who aren't aware."
