It's primarily for children. For everyone else it's opt in but some people react sensitive to nudity or receive lots of unsolicited nudes so it's still a good option to have and I actually agree people should not have to download the app first to protect themselves against unwanted nudes

Settings > Apps > (pick an app) > Siri > Learn From this App

You have to go through each app. My garage app, my BANKING APPS, others had that turned on automatically. 😡

Insults about: Character, such as cowardice, dishonesty, criminality, and sexual promiscuity or immorality. Mental characteristics, including but not limited to accusations of stupidity, intellectual capacity, and mental illness, as well as unsupported comparisons among politically correct (PC) groups based on inherent intellectual traits. 2. Highlighted section: The document allows allegations of mental illness or abnormality when tied to gender or sexual orientation, referencing political and religious discourse about transgenderism and homosexuality. It also acknowledges the non-serious use of terms like "weird."

Meta literally created a LGBTQ exception for calling someone mentally ill as an insult. You can't do it for any other group except LGBTQ people.

Dabei wäre es eigentlich gar nicht so schwer, diese Dienste auch um Advertising IDs zu erweitern. Ich sehe da noch Handlungspotenzial. (3/4)

Gerade in der EU halten die meisten Data Broker aber nur pseudonymisierte Daten soweit mein Verständnis geht. Löschversuch ist da natürlich Fehlanzeige, obwohl diese Daten durchaus zur Identifizierung nützlich sein können, wie etwa Netzpolitik beim #38c3 berichtet hat. (2/4)

Auf dem #38c3 wurde die Frage gestellt, was eigentlich Data Broker Löschdienste wie Incogni bringen. Ich hab heute mal etwas recherchiert und ein grundlegendes Problem gefunden: Ich habe bisher keinen Dienst gefunden der mir erlaubt, meine Advertising ID anzugeben als Löschkriterium. (1/4)

Die Tage sollte auch noch ein Vortrag des #38C3 kommen den ich zwar leider noch nicht selbst gesehen aber schon viel erschreckendes gehört habe. Es gab auch noch einen weiteren Vortrag mit mehr Insights aus ärztlicher Perspektive der leider (wenn auch verständlich) nicht aufgezeichnet wurde.
