13.08.2025 20:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's been a shaving the yak weekend. Each step forward has meant two, three, four, more backward (until you're so far back you're shaving a yak.) Especially w/ tech. Currently one laptop okay, while backup LT and desktop . . . not. IOW, climbing those mountains to get to the yak. Fun!
30.06.2025 02:39 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Dog trainer suggested Tessa not sleep in room w/humans. Supposed to make her value humans more(?) & she IS ga-ga over trainer, so...? But when her bed is moved elsewhere in room to vacuum, she stands in spot and gives accusatory/morose stare. Can you imagine if it's moved out of room? Me, either.
29.06.2025 19:43 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Chasing fireflies . . . with "assistance" from Tessa. When the video played, she barked -- at herself.

New book! Sheila and Clara -- and the dogs, of course -- are drawn into a new murder case, with twists involving the victim. DEATH ON RIDDLE ROAD.

They knew what they were talking about back in 1733.
26.06.2025 20:44 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Tessa's birthday present -- she's four! -- a ball that makes noise. She got into it even more in subsequent play sessions. She's developing some impressive ball handling skills.
16.06.2025 05:07 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Sometimes your and your buddy's paths diverge for a while . . . with the promise they'll come back together for a romp later. Anyway, that Tessa's plan . . . as much as she has plans during doggie daycare. ;-) (That's Tessa on the left.)
29.04.2025 01:14 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Can that really be comfortable? Guess when you're worn out from a long week, any rest is good, eh?
22.03.2025 02:43 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Can you tell I like yellow? The season's starting -- winter jasmine and daffodils here. Winter aconite on the other side of the yard is starting, too. Love the cheer!
21.03.2025 04:55 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Shamrock plant with white blooms in the foreground, with rough collie who's mostly white with sable head looking out window through sheer drapes.
Shamrock plant blooming in prep for St. Patrick's Day. Tess staring out window in prep for squirrel-sighting. Both of those very exciting. St. Patrick's Day has better music. ;-)

16.03.2025 06:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The special day is coming, but the celebration of Irish heritage is every day. :-)
13.03.2025 17:17 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Red twig dogwood. Even with winter still going, there are things to enjoy.
13.03.2025 03:26 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Dog on one side baying/barking at 2 dogs on the other, including author's mostly white collie, named Tessa.
Somebody's always that loudest in every group, eh? (Among humans, mostly substituting volume for reason.) That's Tess, front right, listening politely. Hey, sometimes she even does that for me.
10.03.2025 20:53 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A view of the writing love seat in my office ... where I should be right now, working on Death on Riddle Road, Book 9 of the Secret Sleuth series . . . I'll give you a hint: Somebody's going to die. π
08.03.2025 16:53 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Fun to find this on BlueSky as I venture in.
06.03.2025 04:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thanks for sharing this. :-) Hope it brought you some tidbits that help your ongoing writing journey.
06.03.2025 04:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Snowing, cold, dark. Whoo-boy -- really cheery, eh? ;-)
