There was sexism in Bernie circles. It was and is a big problem on the left. So is anti-intellectualism, anti-Blackness, and a whole host of other shit many of us refused to acknowledge when it was convenient not to to support our candidate.
We need to atone for that
I still would’ve voted for Bernie in the primary for sure. But a lot of us Bernie supporting men owe Elizabeth Warren a huge apology.

Honestly in my male dominated profession if a woman came to me and told me something I said was offensive the apology would be immediate even if I didn’t recall the same thing.

Yeah his explanation made sense and the accusation also didn’t match his character or persona in any way. They overplayed their hand when Allred immediately jumped on the story to save his own ass from losing in Dallas

I can def see a professional woman being enraged by that whole interaction and the online harassment cabal of bros calling her a snake afterwards to the point where Ilhan Omar had to jump in and defend Warren!
His campaign responded with shit like that with characteristic defensiveness and digging in their heels rather than being diplomatic about it, especially to a highly competent female political ally. It was a massive strategic blunder
