Lionel Simmons isn’t walking through that door??
Idiots
Wait, there’s a special edition?!
This is proper approach
You feel better about Ep. 1 after watching Ep. 2
What was a fun thing to think about was he mentioned Revenge of the Sith was the movie that got him locked in as a fan and then I realized not only that I’m an old but also that he was the target audience for the prequel trilogy (he was 8 or 9 when that came out).
I could see either of those guys being huge nerds about it for sure, Kahnle especially
Talked to Adam Gaudette about Star Wars (he has sleeve tats of Star Wars characters) yesterday and while Devon Levi likes Star Wars, Gaudette *loves* it. Our shared dislike of the last three movies was a bonding moment truly.
What the shit kind of opinion is that?
!!!
He should hear it more often from more people
they're all in Buffalo shopping it seems
"Feeling bad? It could be worse! Here's how..."
that's dirty work from the home app
Don't have to micromanage when the sheets speak for themselves
As cathartic as it was to plumb the depths of how bad the tank teams were as an all-time worst statistical team, this kind of thing now is a fair bit more enjoyable to be around.
They're just a good team now, seemingly out of the blue, and they're doing a lot of things right in a sort of old-fashioned in a modern style way and getting very good goaltending to go with it. It's encouraging to not have to dig around to find something positive to discuss or be mired in negatives
Sort of a bonus (I guess?) of the Sabres success this season is being in a spot to not always have to micro analyze every statistic to find things they're doing well to build on for the future. The advanced numbers are mostly normal-to-good and if anyone isn't keeping up it's clear
yeah man
Time ticks down and the fans come to their feet as the Sabres take out the Sharks 6-3 for their eighth straight win.
An entire shift with Askarov pulled in which every Sabre player was feeding Jack Quinn to get a hat trick and Quinn doing everything he could to give it to someone else to score pays off with McLeod giving it to Quinn who shoots it through a stack of Sharks for the hatty.
6-3 Sabres
Another Sharks power play coming up, Stanley busted for high-sticking. The sloppiness that swarmed over the Sabres in the first has returned with a fury in the third
The Sharks power play didn't last very long because Alexander Wennberg was able to backhand one past Lyon after things got a lil scrambly after the faceoff.
5-3 Sabres with 13:04 to go in the third.
oh no
Jason Zucker is going off for interference. He got in Sherwood's way as he went for a big hit on the wall. On his way to the box, Zucker was barking at Sherwood and appeared to accuse him of hamming up the play
