I don’t think candidates will face any questions about the graphic novel in the fall, but who knows? 🤷♂️🦉
Join us tonight at 7:30 p.m. Central for our discussion about all of the "Owl House" merch in the background!
(And some other stuff, I guess.)
Republican U.S. Sen. Steve Daines of Montana dropped his bid for reelection to a third term Wednesday.
No projected winner in Arkansas' 4th District Democratic primary, at least not yet.

How it feels seeing everyone talk about primary elections in North Carolina and Texas, ignoring Arkansas in its entirety.
Hillary Clinton: "I just finished testifying...I never met Jeffrey Epstein."
GETTING THIS OUT THERE NOW: I do not have any input on the ADG's endorsements.
I have never been asked to offer any insight to the editorial board before they make their decisions.
No member of the editorial board has reached out to me about my reporting in my 3+ years with the ADG.

From me: The House abandoned its tradition of reading Washington's farewell address after February 1979.
Arkansas Rep. French Hill and a few colleagues brought back the reading this year on the eve of America's 250th anniversary. www.arkansasonline.com/news/2026/fe...
"As Trump makes more promises he knows he can’t keep and pushes for an agenda that is raising costs for working families, Democrats will be fighting to lower Arkansans’ costs, create jobs, and protect health care."
"Instead of a “golden age’ – Americans face the weakest economic growth in years and companies are announcing layoffs every day."
"Trump promised to lower costs on ‘Day One,’ but prices are skyrocketing. He promised to usher in an economic ‘golden age’ for Arkansans, but our job market is dismal, jobs are drying up, and Arkansas’s economy continues to suffer."
Ahead of the State of the Union, state Democratic Party Chair Marcus Jones: "Tonight, President Trump will desperately try to pull the wool over Arkansans’ eyes and paper over a year’s worth of betrayal and disastrous policies, but Arkansans won’t fall for it."
— Hill: Lowry Barnes, UAMS chancellor
— Cotton: No guest
Arkansas guests at the State of the Union:

“While tariffs can be a useful tool when applied in a targeted way, today’s Supreme Court decision underscores the need for Congress to play a role in trade policy."
Rep. Hill on #SCOTUS: "I share in President Trump’s goal of securing fair and reciprocal trade agreements and holding bad actors accountable for their unfair trade policies."
A good thread on the Supreme Court's ruling this morning on tariffs.
The National Cotton Council has named Nathan Reed as its next chairman.

We are less than a month from Arkansas' primary election — early voting starts Tuesday! — and candidates are finalizing their messages to voters.
For the two Democrats running for U.S. Senate, Hallie Shoffner and Ethan Dunbar, they believe their words must extend beyond the political binary.
If the halftime show was just a 25-minute version of Bad Bunny doing "Playing in the Band," I'm sure it would be weird enough to stop the other halftime show out of pure curiosity.
Really surprised Bad Bunny didn't take any suggestions from the Grateful Dead subreddit for his halftime show. /j
