Highlight of my trip to Gencon? Getting to sit down and chat with the one and only @sherlockhulmes.bsky.social , then gifting a dice tray I made myself. :) It was a truly special moment to meet somebody I have looked up to as a DM and a person for a long time now. Thank you Mark/Mara!

Having the wildest journey to GenCon…

Delayed 4.5 hours, missed connection to Indy, put in hotel for 6 hours, now back at JFK airport to catch a flight to Charlotte(?!) then ANOTHER connecting flight to Indianapolis finally!

Weather is looking good, but make sure you have stuff like spare socks, thermals, blankets for nights in case you get cold, or if there is rain! Suncream for sunny days! Bring lots of water/snacks!
