a bull thrusts its horns up while a bear swipes its paws down. so, these animals are metaphors for the movement of a market: trend is up, bull. trend is down, bear. cool!

some people/ doctors call it "walking corpse syndrome" because often the sufferer will believe they are dead (like a zombie). some even refuse to eat or sleep, which can be quite worrisome. luckily, my diagnosis is not so extreme, but still something my psychiatrists monitor.
