They ask Black Women for help, we lead, we meet the moment (in the is case - help grow a network), & when they experience issues bc of their own incompetence & f up (keeping Morning Joe & watching viewers leave), they blame their problems on the Black Woman.

Didn’t realize these years as a lawyer studying the constitution would end with the destruction of said document.

Watching history repeat itself is a wild MF’ing thing, I tell ya.

This is the time for everyone, in their individual capacities, to lead.

And of course she got that much support. She was overqualified yet here we are.

So I stayed a bit quieter re: DNL to maintain my well-being.

But now - we need to get bigger, be bolder, & leverage our collective knowledge to expand our impact.

We can educate folks on how to proceed.

Listen - as a trained business and brand attorney - there is a lot of knowledge we can share as we navigate this space of shitty as corporate doing shitty ass corporate things.

We can help.

We can use our knowledge to inform and strategize.

Every. Single. Thing.

We don’t get the same access (or grace) as others.

We do 10x work to get the same recognition.

As much as you support small businesses in other areas, please support small tech too.

We need representation in this market more than ever.

We’re a growing startup (been doing this for 4 yrs now) in the #legaltech side of the tech industry.

And building @fidu.app isn’t easy.

For platforms like mine - @fidu.app to exist - one that’s led by a black woman…

Small businesses are the foundation of the US and now it’s time to really support them.

Know where they stand, see how they treat their employees, use your money to match your values.

So many stores I shopped in are folding.

So - now I must find replacements.
