Am I naive in thinking Hugh Jackman has achieved, in some degree, "fuck you money," where he's not worried ever about his next meal? What is the point of having a career that gets you to "fuck you money" level, if you never ever say "fuck you" to the people you should be saying "fuck you!" to?
(Also, as an aside, I don't think it makes sense to strike for over 11 months to get enforceable AI abuse protections and then turn right around and go back to work without them.)
We're in the middle of them, so it sometimes gets kind of taken as read, or for granted, but these really are strange and terrible times.
