Losing our second so soon after the first, and to an ectopic, has been such a deep blow.

There's so much to say and I don't know how to say it. The only people in my social circles I know who've had losses eventually had successes, yet it feels isolating to be left with just the experience of loss.

Over the last few months I’ve started to see the importance of minimal screen time and how much better I feel when I’m not always glued to a screen. It’s so easy to get caught up in everything else going on in the world when that energy is better spent focusing on what’s right in front of you! (3/3)

So over the next few weeks I’ll be on the quieter side again. There’s something that might be brewing in my life right now that means I need plenty of rest and as little stress as possible to help minimise any complications. Stepping back from socials really helps with that. (2/3)

RL went well last week! The highlight was having the same LNWR driver with me from BNS to Rugby as I did last year when I was first learning this route. He remembered me which was lovely and we had a great little catch up! I’m definitely ready to sign this route off once I’m assigned to do so. (1/3)

Then today to finish the week off, I had a day on the shed turn at the Crewe ETD.

Next week it’s back to finishing off route learning from Bescot to Rugby. Once that’s done, I’ll be due to learn from Crewe through Shrewsbury to Dee Marsh!! Quite nervous about that one, but excited! 😅 (3/3)

On Wednesday I had the pleasure of taking 66198 up to Warrington from Crewe for 6Z21, then bringing 66055 back to Crewe for 6Z22. Even better, I had a work buddy of mine tag along for my part of the journey, as he drove both legs between Crewe and Toton (2/3)

Brought 66207 into TP from Crewe with 4M73, then took 66206 out to Nuneaton with 4O21! First time I’ve ever driven consecutive numbers one after the other, so I’m very pleasing! 😃

Afterwards, I went off to TP where I then drove 4L32 to Nuneaton, both operated by 66207. Pretty awesome morning I’d say!! Early again tomorrow taking 4M73 from Crewe to TP and then 4O21 back out to Nuneaton! Let’s hope for some more smooth runs! 🤞🏻 (2/2)
