Got the official confirmation on the phone today from the nurse, my partner is totally removed from the ventilator. We're getting better and better every single day.

So I finally finished Silksong for the first time. 96% completion at 53 hours.

I really loved exploring Pharloom. And I can't wait for all the more speculation Mossbag has.

This game was absolutely beautiful. And challenging. But man did I adore every second of it.

I dunno if I've just gotten better and used to it or what. But a lot of the bosses I keep hearing give people trouble in Silksong... I'm like not even having a problem with. Except you beastfly... Fuck you with something long and sandpapery.

Welp there's my first weird hiccup with Silksong... Got stuck in an unwinnable glitch... Couldn't be damaged, couldn't move, could still use my tools but they were useless against the boss i was fighting.

After about 25 hours into Silksong... All I can say is holy fuck I love this game. So worth the wait.

OKAY I DID THAT BUT FUCKING GOOFIER AND NERDIER.

My coworker was not ready for the Info dump I just spouted at them because they awoke me like a sleeper cell with the phrase "Hey Nathan do you know anything about Mega Man?"

After a couple hours with Silksong. Yeah the game is hard. Some parts so far have been frustrating. But man I fucking adore what I'm experiencing so far.

After just being Bananza, which btw holy fuck new favorite DK game, I'm sure I'll get used to Silksongs play style.

Jake is doing okay. Doctors have everything comfortable and stable while we wait for recovery. Jake's body just needs to take its time healing.

For now, I have everything under control. Bills are paid. I'm eating.

I just can't sleep. I'm so tired.

Part of me wants to finish DK bonanza to distract me from everything.

Part of me wants to hold off because Jake was watching me play it and I don't want them missing anything.
