Problems undoubtedly persist in Greek football. However, there is some hope that the coming years could see more success on the pitch from Greek clubs in Europe and the National Team. The great hope is that this will effect change off the pitch as well.

And finally the @superleaguegr.bsky.social is enjoying a couple consecutive seasons of tight title races. PAOK won the league in dramatic fashion last season on the final day while this year Olympiacos lead the way, but the race is still on as the league heads toward the playoffs.

- Bolstered by a promising youth movement, a capable coach in the form of Ivan Jovanovic, and new leadership at the top of the Greek football federation who are thus far making logical decisions, the National Team is in its best phase since 2014

- Young talents with multiple options for which NT to play for are choosing the Greek national team. Bright lights such as Christos Zafeiris and Konstantinos Karetsas have recently chosen to represent the #Greece

- Greece’s young talent pool is deeper than ever before. Starlets such as Mouzakitis, Kostoulas, Konstantelias, Koulierakis, Tzimas and more have come to the fore

- Olympiacos’ dual cup success last season in the @europacnfleague.bsky.social and UEFA Youth League showed that Greek clubs can be a force in Europe
