WHO: Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) killed 460 civilians, incl patients, at a hospital in el-Fasher, #Sudan, on Tuesday.

Greece’s migration minister on the ‘returns bill’ in parliament last night:

“If you find yourself in #Greece and you qualify for international protection, you will be granted asylum. If your asylum is refused, you have two options. You either go to jail or return to your home country.”

The island of Crete saw a staggering 2,642 migrant arrivals in the 1st week of July. Since the temporary suspension of asylum claims that took effect on July 9, arrivals dropped at below 900 for the rest of July, acc to the ministry of migration.

507 arrivals were recorded until August 24.

A shocking act of animal cruelty took place on Sunday night, August 24, in Ermionida, #Greece, when an elderly man drove his car with a dog tied to the back. The animal was dragged across the road until it died. Police arrested the perpetrator.

Ukrainian soldiers will receive a further boost from the British military’s expert training. More than 50,000 Ukrainian recruits have been trained on British soil so far. The extension of Op. INTERFLEX was announced by the Defence Secretary amid Ukrainian celebrations today.
