new animation shows nowadays never run for a long time, the most shows usually will get are 2 or 3, and not uncommonly with cuts. I miss when shows could run for 4 or 5+ seasons. Not that short runtime is inherently bad, but shows that could go for longer just don't get the funding for it anymore.
