Unsolicited writing advice, no: 1.
Love what you do. Nurture it; give it the time it needs to grow. Don't force it to be something it doesn't want to be. Don't compare it with its siblings. Feed it what it most needs. Don't lose the joy in your writing. Because if you don't love it, who else will?

So rumours are that Boundless Publishing is on the verge of shutting down: after the CEO brought the collapsed Unbound (which they also were the CEO) and then found out that the non-payments to authors nullified all their contracts: leaving them with just owning a "damaged" brand.
