Sometimes you meet a character that you're pretty sure the author intends to be charming and quirky and relatable but they're actually intolerably irritating and the thought of spending 300+ pages in their company is like nails on a chalkboard and you have to throw the book across the room.

I actually had some energy when I came home from work but now after fixing laundry, showering, and help cooking, I'm back to being a dead beetle and ugh.
I had author stuff to do tonight.

Writing Update: 400 words on AnimalsWIP for today!

Started new chapter for the week. Hopefully aiming to finish the chapter by Sat or Sun.

I've gone back to my older style of outlining for the trilogy (prose synopsis instead of scene-by-scene in bullet points), and uhh, you can really tell it's been a while. I keep double-entering between paragraphs, and I have to remind myself to use full sentences 😂

For Intl Women’s Day it’s fitting I finished Rebel of the Regency by Ann Foster about the fierce Caroline of Brunswick. For as much regency histrom that I have read you would think I would know more about her, but a lot of this was new to me. Great read, very conversational, lots of fun.
