Beloved Milwaukee Brewers broadcaster Bob Uecker has died Bob Uecker, the voice of the team on the airwaves for 54 years, a Baseball Hall of Famer and local, statewide and national icon, died Thursday.

Not many celebrity deaths really get to me but Bob Uecker was special. When I was living in Milwaukee for 8 years, Ueck’s announcing could make a terrible baseball game listenable. Many weekend afternoons working outdoors or in the basement were spent listening to his stories.

The NIH is so efficient that they already rely upon volunteer labor to do grant review. And they are not even allowed to buy grant reviewers coffee.

After my observation that limited numbers of HSV and PRV virions transmit from axons, I was lucky enough to start my own lab at Montana State University. As we got going, I became increasingly obsessed with the timing of virion transmission from axons.
