Have you ever tried the Happy Cow app? It lists the restaurants that serve vegan/veggie food in a given area. I’ve used it in lots of different places across the world - esp. trying to find places to eat while at a conference in an unfamiliar city.
Yes, unfortunately over & over as we went around the class for introductions. But, I’m hoping to get them interested & teach them cool things about microbes.

Micro 101 for non-majors
Today I taught my 1st class of the term, Micro for non-majors. When I asked them what they were most excited to learn about, almost all said they were only taking the class bc they needed the credits. I’ll see if I can turn things around & help them learn to love microbes this semester!
