Laughton was so savaged by the critics & the public for this film he never directed again. It's incredibly sad because he had a natural eye for composition & lighting. confronting a challenging subject. A true artist.

- Just bring your finished work.
- Print it out unless its a webcomic (crappy printing is better than no printing).
- Think about your storytelling

So the panther has become a local legend and punch line when stuff happens.

2 years ago someone reported pigs wondering around like pedestrians on their front lawn.

I believed them to be rebelling.
...others were 'concerned' over their safety because the Panther might get 'em.

The thing about the accursed tech i was worried about....

Newspaper articles about 'Big Cat' sightings, DNA found on sheep carcasses, our local bridge was closed for a year because the contractors fucked up the concrete. Covid and dog shit everywhere, Eveyone was going insane. But alas the Panther, the myth, the legend gave us a good laugh.

Thinking about that trulyy insane time in February of 2021 where my village had what many might call a 'mass hallucination' of a black panther. But it was real damn it...REAL...a resident was designing merchandise, there was low flying helicopters and a police van visiting the village shop!
