Game wise, been having a blast, the simplicity of the looks makes spotting targets easier. This sort of "functionality so utilitarian it loops back around to stylish" as an interesting interpretation to the bubble-fab-forms that the originals had in places.

Having recently replayed the first 2, I think people forgot that Marathon had a tradition of immediately starting each sequel with "Actually I was lying back there, lol", and completely going off the rails, so canonical sanctity was always a bit questionable.

It's weird, it's sort of both a sequel and reboot Evil Dead 2 style. There is pretty good evidence that Marathon 1 + 2 happened (the dates with the trailers line up, and some other stuff) but they've been re-imagined to give themselves some creative wiggle.

You seem to be bumping up on your shadow-buffer limit, converting some lights to spotlights will help, or just deleting/hiding lights you can't see.

Cycles will work but it'll take all day to render.
