Especially with Baldur's Gate 3 -- it's a tremendous game. But do I really want a TV show of it?

No....not really.

I loved Last of Us season 1. Couldn't make it past episode 3 for season 2.

I really liked Fallout season 1. Am struggling to find motivation to watch season 2.

This is just my personal opinion, but for a long time, there were no good video game movies/TV. Now, there might be too many...

If Soulslikes are defined by their harsh difficulty, it doesn’t have that. Nor is there a bonfire system. Nor do you recover experience after dying. Nor is the storytelling environmental.

KH is an action-RPG. Nothing more. Can’t think of a single Soulslike element.

Media should not be using their platform to try and counter act what the public is doing.

As someone who has been to every E3 that existsed since 2015, and every SGF/IGN Live since -- most people's exhausting comes from the afterparties. The days can be long, yes. But no one is forcing you to go to the JW or The Fig and drink with people until 3am.

I understand why Geoff Keighly wants everyone to play Highguard.

I understand why Wildlight Ent. wants everyone to play Highguard.

What I don't understand is why so many fellow games media and journalists want people to play Highguard.

It's all I see. People just defending Highguard...weird...

You can tell the world is miserable by how many people WANT people to lose their jobs to AI.

Every time some AI thing comes out, the comments are filled with “game studios are dead. Office workers are dead.”

We’ve read books and seen movies about a dystopian future. Why actively cheer for it?

I’ve been at IGN for 10 years and I’ve never reviewed a single video game.

I think if you ~need~ Twitter for literally any purpose you have made mistakes in the construction of your life/business or you are just lying to yourself

I mean this with zero shade thrown toward Concord or Highguard -- but I have to assume that any dev right now working on a hero type shooter has to be rethinking their strategy.

Heck, even with Arc Raiders, Marathon better bring the heat or it's just gonna get bulldozed.
