Today, for the very first time in my life, I was in a principal’s office. Maybe it doesn’t count because I wasn’t sent there or summoned, I was there of my own volition to discuss a matter, but still. What a milestone to first achieve in middle age.
Home. Hard pants off. A 12 hour break from stressing about anything. Tomorrow will be one thing at a time. Right now I am calm and zen 🧘♀️
I keep feeling like it’s Friday afternoon and all the things are done, except it’s actually just a lull on Thursday and all the things aren’t even done for today 😭 I’m just very stressed about the things!
I have no advice, but I feel every word of these posts deep in my soul, so just chiming in to say same.

There’s so much going on. Lots of life stuff. War. Fascism. The breakdown of society. My anxiety is through the roof today. At least the weather is good. I appreciate that I have that at least.
It’s very much not the important thing, but I can’t help but wonder, did Jordyn and Julio break up?! Or do you just figure it out when you’re both professional athletes and play in different cities?! I want the hot goss!

I find the way they show the wind stupid because there’s obviously more going on now than just steady wind! It’s gotten pretty wild out there!

My weather app is saying we’re getting 45 mph gusts, but it felt MUCH windier earlier this afternoon when the gusts were 30. The direction has changed a little, so that’s probably why. I wanted some fun but not scary wind! For whatever reason we’re in a little protected area. Which I guess is good.
To be a band in the 60s you just had to pick 4-8 of the goofiest looking dudes, put on suits, pick a random word with The in front as your band name, write a corny ass song, then ta duh! Instant success. I say this with love. The Oldies forever.
I’ve always felt like the band name The Association should be vaguely threatening and have dark undertones. It doesn’t match their music.

I am disproportionately annoyed by all the things today and quite frankly, it's all Cal Raleigh's fault.
Pretty sure everyone has replied to that text except for me. Text dings all day! It kinda makes me want to reply all to the email that was also sent to everyone that no one has replied to yet. Just to be that person. But I will not. Because I'm being the change I wish to see in youth sports.

Once again, men ruin everything!! I’m just struggling so hard with baseball right now. Can’t we all just agree to pretend? Don’t ask, don’t tell for athlete political beliefs.
Honestly people who think that way just don’t give a fuck. They get the greatest thrill from being an asshole and I HATE that Cal seems to be that way. It honestly makes me not watch the entire team. Even though I know I will. I just hate it!!
