It just doesn't compute for me! I'd die with that little sleep. That schedule makes sense if you don't work until like noon, but if you have a regular job that starts at 8? Idk. I'm totally willing to accept that I'm the weirdo 😂

It’s definitely a case where I’m like, wait, and I the weird one here?!

It’s like when I would hear coworkers talking about watching late night shows. Like? How do you sleep enough to function at work the next day? Are regular people eating dinner at 9 and staying up past midnight and sleeping like 6 hours at night?

When I see talk about how eating dinner at 6 is super early, I’m just very confused about how other people live their lives.

On the other hand, coming up for air has revealed more heartbreakingly awful things happening and I can feel a little depression cloud gathering steam so, idk, I suppose a few days in a Rubik’s haze isn’t the worst thing for my mental health.

“ADHD is a super power!” Yeah it’s such a superpower to be held hostage by something that’s basically just a party trick and I don’t even go to parties.

I am obsessed with the Rubik’s Cube. I’ve solved several now. I’m getting better at it. But I’m so obsessed with it it’s ruining my life. Why can’t I get hyper focus over better things?!

And then there’s always people who are all “I simply do x,y,z and my kitchen is perfectly clean all the time” but x, y, and z also require a lot of planning/time/executive functioning skills and aren’t actually solutions, they’re just a superiority complex.

Nothing makes me think that we as modern humans have organized “how to live” wrong quite as much as the amount of work and effort that goes into maintaining a kitchen before you even get to the act of cooking. It’s just so much work all the time. There must be a better way!

It's so blatant! Really embracing the fragile white woman thing and seething with disgust and hatred for women in general, but particularly black and queer women who play sports.

I might need a pasta machine if I keep this up though because I really worked up a sweat using a rolling pin and still didn’t get it quite thin enough.

I was so enamored with the fresh pasta we made last week for spaghetti that I thought I’d give it a go for a summer vegetable lasagne. It was much easier than going to the store and buying lasagne noodles! I guess I’m officially a homemade pasta person now.

The lasagne was really great too!
