Different, indeed. I did the reverse by writing then shelving a couple novels in 3rd before finishing a 1st-person & publishing it. Now I'm wrapping up a companion in 3rd & have to admit I miss writing the narrative in 1st. Reminds me of overhearing bits of conversation. Maybe screenplays are next
