Thank you. I like it too.

But I think my current favourite maybe:

The sepia showers

They say: seeing is believing. ๐Ÿ˜ณ
They also used to say: the camera never lies.๐Ÿค”

I think Morag ๐Ÿ‰ is within the eyes of the believer, the same as Nessie ๐Ÿ‰ just less well known.

Donโ€™t you think weโ€™ve reached (or are on the very edge of) a positive tipping point of many people, who are also voters & investors, saying: fuck it, we know what the problem is, we know what we need to do, never mind petrostates, trump & COP non-delivery, weโ€™re just going to get on & do it? ๐Ÿ˜Š

Yes.
The necessity for unanimous consensus, as against majority consensus, has become a major obstacle to so many areas of global & regional cooperation & decision making. Bullies, vested interests & idiots are allowed to prevail.

Come gather round people

Countries meeting in Brazil for two weeks could manage ONLY a VOLUNTARY agreement to BEGIN discussions on a roadmap to an EVENTUAL phase-out of fossil fuels, and they achieved this INCREMENTAL progress only in the teeth of IMPLACABLE OPPOSITION from OIL-PRODUCING countries.

I'll let you into a wee secret Victoria but don't tell anyone ๐Ÿ˜‰

It's not actually Morag. I'm afraid I neglected to advise that there's a wee boat just off screen and this is its wake. One can use one's imagination though, until reality kicks in.

Here's another image of the loch: Morag not present.

Loch Morar.
Is that Morag the Monster?

Actually, it's probably at or near Knockvologan, a trek through the scrubby woodland south of Fionnphort.

Absolutely! Brighton West Pier, opened in 1866, closed in 1975, 50 years ago. Gradually decaying and falling into the sea.

Quite iconic and usually gets wonderful starling murmurations around this time of year. This was 7 years ago.

I had to tell a while back, I guess no-one would have guessed. Campomoro, Corsica. Lovely village & beach.

I knew of the amazing rabbit house but missed it by a few metres. Sheltering from some unseasonal heavy rain.

It's my favourite loch: Morar โค๏ธ

I guess Ness & Lomond are definitely the best known.

Lomond's the biggest, Ness is the longest.

Morar's the deepest.
And it has its own monster: Morag.

First one is correct. Thought it would be easy, those Venetian gondoliers.
I do occasionally try to randomly spread my wings with my posted images so thought maybe the occasional geographic challenge might be of interest.

Correct. The view across the Douro, taken from the spot just off the Ponte Luis I bridge.
That's some bridge.
