The article didn't even mention that standard time wasn't an option. So of course Daylight Time won.
Also, many people probably think Daylight Savings occurs in the winter, when it's actually the opposite.

In the news release BC Gov put out announcing the switch to permanent daylight savings time, they cite a Stanford Medicine report to back up their decision, but the report actually says the opposite, that permanent standard time is better

Thank you, College St is my commute! I've been taking the subway instead of college streetcar because so many vehicles keep parking over the rails.
On-street parking on Bloor St. has been clear of snow for six days while snow makes the bike lane unusable. Excess snow should be dumped in the on-street parking spots. Prioritize movement of people, not storage of private property on a public road.
